Gilbert & Roach

Sydney's leading Isuzu, Kenworth and DAF dealer, was established in 1946.

Gilbert and Roach has been the top selling Isuzu dealer for the past twelve years. G & R acquired the Kenworth franchise in 1981 and the DAF franchise in 2001.

The company is also distributor for a large number of Motor Parts and Accessories and Gray Workshop Equipment.
Gilbert and Roach has three dealerships, Huntingwood in Sydney's Greater West. Narellan, in Sydney's South and Hexham, near Newcastle.

Over $15 million was spent on building the new establishment at Huntingwood, achieving what is regarded as the largest truck sales and service dealership for medium and heavy-duty trucks in Australia. Gilbert & Roach Huntingwood compares with similar centres in North America and meets 'world best practice' standards for the truck industry.

Mr Shinichi Hoshino, President and Managing Director of Isuzu General Motors Australia said, "I doubt there is a better facility anywhere in the world".
Gilbert & Roach was purchased by the Suttons Group in 1971 and is an important member of the Suttons Motors Group of Companies, the leading automotive retail group in Australia. It was established over 60 years ago and now has seventeen dealerships covering thirteen different Motor Manufacturers. Suttons is a family-owned business with two generations actively involved in the day-to-day management of the Group.
